The first step in any design project is to talk to your designer. Ari
Rasekh gladly extends a FREE initial consultation to anyone interested
in exploring new design opportunities. Please feel free to contact
Ari Rasekh and take advantage of this consultation to learn
what we can do for your company's brand and web presence.

Client and designer explore the
goals, special needs and requirements for the project. This is a crucial
period during which many questions about the project
will be asked. Both client and designer must understand each other's
intentions so that the project's content and plan of
action are clearly defined.

The designer begins gathering and
assessing the 'tangible' aspects of the project. The designer will work
closely with you to develop the 'look and feel' that represents your
company. Depending on the type of project this may include:
- Information architecture
- site map
- database schema
- text/copy organization
- Technical specification
- programming languages
- file formats
- Content collection
- Retrieve marketing copy/texts
- Previous artwork
- Visual Concepts:
- Story boarding
- Wireframes or comp (comprehensive layout) design
- Client revisions and approval

Sometimes referred to as creative
development, this is the phase during which the designer implements
the project. Changes proposed during the Concept Development
are taken into account and realized to produce the final deliverables.
Depending on the project production may include:
- Artwork production
- Cropping
- Image optimization
- Coding
- Programming and page creation

The results of the Production
phase go through proofing, testing and revision until the client and
designer are satisfied with the results. Once the reviews are completed,
web sites are launched and final deliverables are submitted to the client.
During review/testing the following may be checked for:
- Broken Links
- Spelling/Grammar
- Web site compatibility/portability
- Computer errors

Some projects require maintenance
even after the implementation is complete. This is often true with web development
projects because of their dynamic nature. Maintenance may include revisions
or additions to the existing content. If
necessary, a good designer will work with you to develop a plan to maintain your
brand/website according to your needs.
